satisfaction..

for once (in a blue moon) i get some satisfaction from being a teacher.. haa.. that's when i get to see improvements in my students' results.. haha.. was a bit shocked when my student's (the primary 2 tom-boy girl) mum told me she scored 97/100 for her maths, and was top her class.. haha.. never expected her to do so well.. =)

but today's was tiring lar.. dunno why.. was struggling to stay awake while giving 2 sessions of tuition today.. maybe it's the hot weather that makes me feel sleepy.. shall go high on chocos later.. hahah..

a trip down to JB..

supposed to teach 2 sessions of tuition after school today, but i couldn't resist the temptation and getting psycho-ed by aline and yihui.. so i went JB!! haha..

well.. it was supposed to be a YEP outing to JB for a seafood feast.. but then.. it turned out that only a small group of people who were going, but we still went on with it.. and so only me, ryan, yihui and junqian turned up.. haha.. supposed to meet up with aline and waipeng who went in earlier, but then they were the ones who told us that the seafood restuarant that we were going was closed.. for the 15th day of the seventh month (sounds a bit inauspicious).. so they went forward with their own plans while the 4 of us settled for a long and nice dinner at Secret Recipe in City Square.. the dinner was filled with lots of laughter.. manz.. and we were all tired from laughing.. haha..

but i want my seafood!! black pepper chilli crab and grilled chilli stingray!! arghh..

first day of school..

today's the first day of school.. after a long holiday (though i'm still in the holiday mood).. had 2 lectures today, but i wasn't really listening.. was half-stoneing and yawning away.. haha..

saw friends that i've not seen since the last semester.. saw familiar faces, and a lot of new faces.. all the year 1 students.. manz.. i'm in year 2 now.. time really flies eh..

happened to see yupin in jurong point while i was looking for the glue for my jigsaw puzzles.. haven't seen her for ages.. since we graduated from JC i guess.. haha.. but it's still the same old yupin.. haha..

suddenly i feel nostalgic.. haha..
